Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

MLK Search is pleased to be supporting this registered Independent Alternative Provision with sports specialism, in recruiting an inspirational and creative teacher to deliver Maths, Science and Technology subjects, catering to all abilities and specialist needs.
As a school that offers education to students referred by mainstream schools and Local Authority, there is an emphasis on pastoral care and a holistic approach towards education for all. The aim is to enhance the academic, well-being and personal growth of all students of all abilities, to unleash potential through a creative, tailor-made curriculum.
The successful applicant will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
- Successful experience of teaching Pathways 1 to 3, for 11-16 year olds
- A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching and learning strategies
- Strength in behaviour management and the safeguarding of students within a similar environment
- High expectations of self, and students to drive attainment and progress
- Solid ICT skills and effective use of ICT to support learning
