Service Engineer - Staffordshire - Competitive Salary
VIQU have partnered with an organisation who specialises in digital transformations and operational technology who have been ahead of the game with their advanced systems for years. The business who are going from strength to strength, and are looking to hire a Service Engineer to be part of the business's world class team ahead of their expanding project opportunities.
The Service Engineer will be primary based in the factory in Staffordshire but will be expected to travel to different sites across the country.
The key activities will include:
- Design, testing, and installation of project works.
- Routine Maintenance tasks e.g. Site Surveys, Spares Management, Obsolescence Reporting Technical Audits, System Health Checks, Disaster Recovery Work
- Helping customers to fault-find and rectify problems via telephone, web, email etc. and where required, to respond to the customer's site to carry out emergency repairs.
- Travelling to UK wide sites.
- Maintanence of a range of machinery including PLC/RTU systems.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team servicing a number of clients. The work will vary depending on the clients' needs but typically includes some small projects work, some routine maintenance and some reactive support calls. In each case suitable training will be provided to ensure they are able to perform their duties.
Essential Requirements:
- Over 2 years of electrical engineering/maintanence experience.
- Current driving licence and car.
- PLC/RTU machinery or similar control systems experience.
