Maintenance Technician duties will include:

  • Preventative maintenance of machines and equipment
  • Responding to emergency machine breakdowns throughout the plant.
  • Involvement with new design, installation and movement of existing machines.
  • Participating in continuous improvement and project tasks for all production equipment
  • Assisting in the installation of new equipment.
  • Following the preventative maintenance schedules and routines.
  • Recording of all equipment downtime.
  • Keeping all areas of facility in a safe working condition reporting any H&S issues.
  • Identify and implement solutions to improve equipment performance.
  • Adhering to the company's Health and safety policies.

What you will need:

  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
  • A time-served electrical maintenance qualification
  • Multi-skill ability with an electrical bias

What's In It for You?

A salary of £39,000 (including shift allowance), pension 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, £150 bonus in the form of a voucher at Christmas time, paid overtime, etc.

Working Hours:

A shift pattern that includes mornings (6 am-2 pm), nights (10 pm-6 am), and afternoons (2 pm-10 pm), with night shifts commencing on Sunday evening.
