About the Role: TimePlan Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a vibrant SEN secondary school in Bushey, Hertfordshire. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop individualised education plans (IEPs) for students, ensuring their academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to provide holistic support to students.
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to create a positive and safe learning space.
- Monitor and report on students' progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Participate in regular training and professional development sessions.
Ideal Candidate:
- Primary trained teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience in teaching students with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about making a difference in the lives of SEN students.
- Possesses an Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
