Job Description:
As a Teaching Assistant with a Humanities focus, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students' academic and personal development. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting Humanities teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them understand key concepts in History, Geography, Religious Studies, and other humanities subjects.
- Preparing and organizing classroom materials and resources.
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) to ensure they have full access to the curriculum.
- Contributing to the development of lesson plans and educational activities.
- Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A genuine passion for Humanities subjects and education.
- Previous experience working with secondary school students, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, compassionate, and supportive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff.
- A relevant qualification or degree in Humanities (desirable but not essential).
