English Teacher - Rochdale - Full time - September
Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified, passionate and enthusiastic English Teacher to work at a popular, high achieving secondary school in Rochdale to join them on a full time basis from September, to cover a member of staff who will be on maternity leave.
This role is a full time position and is open to ECTs as well as more experienced teachers of English.
The successful candidate will need to fully immerse themselves immediately in the school and department and assist in planing and preparing lessons, attend departmental meetings & parents evenings when necessary. You will also need to be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management.

Hours 8:15AM 4PM
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided)
Up to date prevent awareness& FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
Up to date behaviour management training (essential, however, training can be provided)
English Teaching experience in a UK school is desirable
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one
Provide two professional references
