Are you a strong and experienced Office Administrator, someone who can turn your hand to most things, or you're happy to 'have a go' and willing to learn? This Office Administrator role is an all-encompassing role from customer service to finance, from purchasing to data entry. You need to be able to spin all sorts of plates, enjoying the variety and sometimes even the mundane!

Salary : £11.50 - £13.00 per hour

Location: Duston, Northampton

Our office is based near Sixfields, in the village of Duston, with easy access to local amenities, a large car park and on a main bus route from town.

Job Description: Office Administrator, Business Administrator

To be successful as our Office Administrator, you'll be an all-rounder and someone who likes to 'muck-in' when needed. We like to be challenged - if you find a better way to approach a task, then do it! Our team are an eclectic bunch, with a wide range of backgrounds; you will have to be comfortable and capable of talking rubbish whilst making a brew, through to supporting the Managing and Operations Director on a day to day basis.

As our Office Administrator, you'll be involved in everything we do :

  • First point of contact for all customers and suppliers, email, phone, and in person.
  • Finance - raising invoices, chasing payments.
  • Checking of time sheets, communicating with Payroll and clients.
  • Data Entry, analysis, CRM cleansing and customer survey reports.
  • Sourcing, buying managing stock of office products, stationary, paper, water, canteen, etc.
  • Attend and assist with all company events.

Person Specification : Office Administrator, Business Administrator

You'll be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A proven track record from within an office environment. Any experience in finance or recruitment environment is an advantage but a willingness to learn is more important.
  • Knowledge, understanding, and competent with Microsoft packages, particularly Excel and CRM systems (we will train you on ours).
  • Willingness to take on mini projects (currently, we are process mapping our entire business).
