We are actively seeking a Production Operative to join our dedicated team in Haverhill. The role is integral to ensuring the delivery of high-quality products in a safe, efficient, and hygienic environment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting our site team to meet our Food Safety, Authenticity, and Quality objectives.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Ensuring production starts and ends on time as per the schedule.
- Adhering to trained work instructions and maintaining all Quality standards.
- Operating machinery safely and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Checking that batch codes and production dates are accurate.
- Working flexibly to support all areas of the business to meet service levels.
- Minimising production downtime during working hours.
- Keeping the production area clean and orderly at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Food Safety and Health and Safety training is desirable.
- Ability to communicate effectively and interpret written and numerical data.
- Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
