Role Overview

This is a new role created to support a Rural Director based in York who is also Head of the York office.

A great opportunity for a talented and experienced PA to create a role, processes and structure that allows the Director to focus on managing the office, team and his fee earning client work.

The Director specialises in the provision of rural property management and consultancy services across Yorkshire and County Durham, alongside some sporting estate consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting in all areas below:

  • Manage every aspect of day to day activity, taking care of key tasks such as managing meetings, booking appointments, full diary and email management.
  • Working with and supporting him to create time and space to manage the office, his team and his clients.
  • First point of contact for the rest of the business and clients.
  • Booking travel and accommodation requirements.
  • Assisting with ISO compliance and internal audit procedures.
  • Assisting with arranging team events, business development seminars and conferences.
  • Managing timesheets and expenses.
  • Utilising Savills IT systems to update CRM database, and financial systems to raise client invoices and process purchase invoices (full training will be provided).

Key Skills

You must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experienced PA with proven and demonstrable experience of working at a senior level.
  • An ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • The ability to work under pressure and deal with conflicting priorities.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills for self and manager.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong working knowledge of O365 with an ability to do audio dictation being an advantage.

Team Overview

The Rural Director you would be supporting has direct responsibility for the York office which comprises 42 people and leads a team of ten surveyors, property managers and administrators. This team primarily delivers estate management services for a range of private and institutional clients. He also represents the office on the regional executive committee, delivery of the regional business and interacting with other Savills offices.
