Junior Acoustic Consultant
Our client, is a UKAS accredited consultancy specialising in acoustic engineering and noise control solutions. They provide personalised services to address unique acoustic challenges in various sectors such as education, healthcare, industrial, and infrastructure projects. They offer a comprehensive package which includes noise studies, acoustic design, and mitigation solutions.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or a Master of Science (MSc) in acoustic engineering or a related field along with certification from the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Practical experience in conducting sound and noise assessments.
- Possession of a valid UK driver's licence.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with key stakeholders across various departments to ensure timely delivery and meet all project deadlines.
- Compiling technical data from assessments and creating comprehensive technical reports for clients.
- Conducting surveys and evaluations on noise and vibration using specialised modelling software.
- Ensuring that all assessments and remedial advice align with and exceed British standards, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining effective communication and strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the project's lifecycle.
