Payroll Senior

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Senior/Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of payroll clients. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing a portfolio and possess excellent communication skills, enabling them to maintain strong client relationships. This role requires proficiency in payroll software, particularly Sage and Xero. This role is offered on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Senior/Manager

  • Oversee a portfolio of payroll clients, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact for payroll related queries
  • Ensure compliance with all payroll related legislation and guidelines
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients
  • Continuously review and improve payroll processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction

Qualifications and Experience for the Payroll Senior/Manager

  • Proven experience in managing a portfolio of payroll clients
  • Qualified or qualified by experience
  • Bookkeeping experience would be an added benefit
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software, particularly Sage and Xero
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
