Location: Newcastle Under Lyme

Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 per annum DOE + Annual Company Bonus

Hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:30

Reed are proud to be working with our award winning client in their search for a new HR Advisor, as part of their expanding team.

This role is integral in performing a wide range of HR activities to support the Head of HR and the wider business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for attracting top talent, providing first-line support on employment issues, and enhancing HR processes and policies.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Support all recruitment activities, ensuring processes are professional, smooth, timely, and cost-effective.
  • Provide first-line support, advice, and guidance on a range of employment issues and employee relations.
  • Assist with people activities and communications within the HR remit, such as newsletters, team building, surveys, internships, apprentice schemes, and charity team involvement.
  • Review and assess HR processes and policies in line with best practice and legislative changes.
  • Design and deliver training material and solutions to enhance competencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare analyses, statistics, KPIs, annual reviews, and reports.
  • Assist with projects, payroll, and/or benefit preparations as required.
  • Provide mentorship to HR Admin Support to assist with professional development.
  • Represent the HR Department and business professionally in all settings, including email, calls, online, and face-to-face interactions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in recruitment within an HR role/team, including liaising with agencies and using recruiting platforms and social networks.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and office software skills (Sharepoint is an advantage).
  • Great attention to detail with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible with excellent interpersonal, written, and analytical skills.
  • Confident, creative, curious, friendly, and approachable with a proactive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • CIPD qualification or relevant experience, with working knowledge of UK employment law.
