My client is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to provide high-quality care and education, helping young minds thrive in a stimulating and supportive environment. This is a permanent, full-time role which will be starting in September 2024.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing high standards of care and education within the nursery
  • Creating stimulating, language-rich environments with appropriate resources
  • Complying with the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Implementing the key worker system to build relationships with children and their families
  • Observing, supporting, and extending children's learning
  • Ensuring effective planning, assessment, and record-keeping for children
  • Working in partnership with Parents/Carers and other stakeholders
  • Promoting the welfare and safety of children and following safeguarding procedures
  • Continuously improving the quality of childcare and education in collaboration with the Early Years Team
  • Maintaining a positive attitude and confidentiality, and working effectively as a team member

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in the EYFS curriculum
  • Hold a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 qualification verification required)
  • Positive and passionate about providing high standards of care and education
  • Able to create an inclusive practice environment at all times
