Surface Repair Technician / Magic Man / Maintenance Technician
UK Wide Site Work (Drivers license required)
£200.00 to £220.00 Day Rate (£50,000 + per annum)
(The average annual earnings for this role is approximately £45,000 to £50,000 with OTE & Overtime)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a National and highly successful commercial building, construction and restoration business who require an experienced Surface Repair Technician / Magic Man / Maintenance Technician. We are idially recruiting for an experienced Surface Repair Technician who has experience repairing a variety of surfaces including baths, shower trays and a variety of similar surfaces. We will also consider a Bathroom Fitter or Car Body Repair Technician who has the right transferrable skills or a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician with excellent DIY skills and abilities.
This is an ongoing contractor / self employed role where technicians will require their own vehicle and tools. (All materials and extra equipment will be provided by company).
It is important that you must be willing to travel, work different shift patterns when required and occassionally work away overnight if required. Accomodation, additional travel expenses, breakfast and evening meals provided whilst working away.
As an experienced Surface Repair Technician, you will have previous Surface Repair experience or similar experience repairing chips, defects, wear and tear, etc on a wide variety of surface with excellent DIY skills and be able to turn your hands to a variety of building and restoration projects.
You will be tasked with working on various holiday park and hotel contracts around the country, predominantly hotels and bathroom sealing and surface repairs to commercial premises.
