Liberty has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Contract Manager to join our team, based in Ellesmere Port, with travel around North West and Wales. We are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Contract Manager, (Domestic Electrical Repairs & Maintenance) to take management responsibility for Social Housing Electrical Servicing and Repairs for a large council contract.
Key responsibilities for this Electrical Contract Manager role are:
Ensure a commercial delivery of domestic electrical servicing and repairs contracts
Lead assigned contract achieving target client and commercial objectives
Effectively manage and lead a team of Electricians and Administrators
Overall operational and commercial responsibility for the successful delivery of contracts
Targeting financial returns
Ensuring Health & Safety policy and procedures are adhered to
Build strong working relationships and deliver excellent customer service
Critically analyse performance information and ensure continuous improvement
Effective communication and confidently convey information across all levels of the business
Follow up on quotations and recommendations from Electrician reports and client requirements
Ensure that all planned maintenance of electrical works meet requirements
Ensuring that planned and emergency repairs are carried out effectively
Any work to replace units is correctly scheduled, fulfilled and concluded by the relevant contractors
What we are looking for in our Electrical Contract Manager:
City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in supervisory/ management
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (Buildings, Structures and the Environment), including the AM2
(Achievement Measurement 2)
Latest version Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations *(BS7671 IET Regulations)
- BS7671 IET Regulations is the 18th Edition or latest version
A 2391 or 2394/95 Inspection and testing course (desirable)
Full driving license
Understanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice
Technical skills and a high level of technical understanding
Contract supervision experience
Relevant commercial acumen
