Exams Manager

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Swindon.
Main Duties
- Manage the recording, transfer, and amendment of examination entries, and ensure the timely and accurate transfer of awarding body specification data.
- Support the Head of Centre in ensuring compliance with JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements, manage Access Arrangements, Special Considerations, and maintain the security and integrity of examinations.
- Create and update policies and procedures for exam administration, manage timetabling, rooming, resourcing, and invigilation to ensure smooth operation of exams and assessments.
- Oversee the examinations budget, approve orders, authorize invoices, negotiate hire rates, and ensure cost-effective practices while advising on examination costs.
- Provide up-to-date information and training to staff and candidates regarding examinations and assessments, manage information dissemination through various media, and advise on examination-related developments.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping, manage conflicts of interest, create exam-related policies, provide results statistics, and support the Head of Centre in inspections and safeguarding issues.
Requirements
- Able to start ASAP
- Experience within strict examination board constraints.
- Experience of working with highly confidential data
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics.
- Level 3 qualification in relevant subject or relevant experience
- Great administration skills
- Able to pass a DBS check
