Job Title: Secondary Teacher

Location: Jubilee School, Waterlooville, Hampshire

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Secondary Teacher to join our close-knit team at Jubilee School located in Waterlooville, Hampshire.

About the role

As a Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupil's achievement and ability to develop.

This is a great opportunity for a Teacher who wants to spend less time on paperwork and more time developing creative learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

When it comes to looking after our pupils, we never settle for second best. We are looking for Teachers, who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.

Whilst previous experience of working in an SEN environment as well as experience of teaching would be desirable would be desirable, excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.

Educated to Post Graduate Cert Ed/QTS level, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every pupil to reach their potential.

Jubilee School is an independent special school for pupils with complex needs. These include social, emotional and mental health needs. Some pupils have additional associated SEND. Jubilee School is linked with our residential homes and is located in Waterlooville, just outside of Portsmouth.

This opportunity is in Waterlooville which is within commutable distance of Portsmouth, Chichester and surrounding areas.
