Client Accountant
- Annual Salary: £28,000 - £35,000
- Location: East Grinstead
- Job Type: Part-Time/Full-Time, Permanent
Reed are excited to work with a well-established accountancy practice located in East Grinstead.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare annual accounts from both complete and incomplete records.
- Oversee and submit quarterly VAT returns and monthly CIS returns.
- Manage client queries related to VAT, CIS, and accounts, working closely with the internal team and HMRC to resolve issues.
- Maintain records and management information.
- Oversee the bookkeeping tasks of other colleagues.
- Attend relevant training seminars as required.
- Manage financial systems including Iris, Xero, QuickBooks, and SAGE.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of practice experience in an Accounts role.
- AAT qualification or equivalent.
- Proficient with Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and Iris.
- Strong understanding of VAT law.
- Excellent communication skills, with an eye for detail and a proactive approach.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
