A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Graduate API Developer to join a large consultancy organization. The would suit a recent graduate with a degree in computing that has an interest in integration.
As a junior engineer you will be expected to be able to learn and develop automation skills, and to also develop skills using ETL software tools to support how data flows through the organisation.
This is a remote based role.
Key Responsibilities for the Graduate API Developer
- Supporting the current integration platform
- Scripting and code skills - This role is fundamentally a builder role, an aptitude for software development and being able to pick up software development tasks is key to the role.
- Database Design - Foundational knowledge in database design using techniques such as Entity Relationship Diagrams. Understanding how to communicate database design and changes through visual formats.
Key Experience for the Graduate API Developer
- Recent Computer Science / IT related degree background
- Must be able to demonstrate some portfolio software development projects that show an aptitude and passion for building things. It doesn't matter what the use case of technology is.
- SQL - some of the basic functionality such as queries
- Part of this role requires learning a software called Boomi, we need to see aptitude for this.
