Diagnostic Technician Responsibilities:
- Diagnose: Tackle complex symptoms across all vehicle systems, alongside routine service and repairs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure first-time fixes to consistently satisfy our customers.
- Video Health Checks: Conduct and communicate vehicle health checks, highlighting issues and upsell opportunities.
- Communication: Liaise with workshop supervision on work progress.
- Skill Development: Engage in regular training, including EV-specific education.
- Mentorship: Provide technical assistance and coaching to colleagues.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- MOT Completion: Conduct MOTs in accordance with DVSA standards (if applicable).
Diagnostic Technician Requirements:
- We seek a dedicated professional with at least an NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology from IMI or City & Guilds Level 3.
- Experience working within a similar position
- Strong knack for diagnostics
