Are you confident in using CAD, SolidWorks, Revit or similar?
Do you have a passion for design, and want to be a central part in creating the new?
An adaptable, enthusiastic and confident NPD or CAD Technician is needed for a well-established Staffordshire company, offering innovative and bespoke fixed furniture designs on a national scale.
Working as part of the creative development team, you'll be given opportunities to not only develop and grow within the role, but to take full creative control on designs and projects as the business develops its catalogue.
- Work within product development from concept all the way to product launch
- Implementing design and product design enhancements
- Providing technical support for all areas of the business
- Researching new materials and design techniques
- Ensuring updates to all NPD documentation, including BIM, specifications and notices.
To be successful within the New Product Design role, you'll have
- Experience of using AutoCAD, Solidworks and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Bills of Materials
- Excellent accuracy, attention to detail and good time management
- A hands-on mentality with a positive approach to all challenges
- A willingness to learn and develop
