Project Support Coordinator

Reed Crawley are exclusively partnered with a key client based in Crawley with the recruitment of a Project Support Coordinator to join their Innovation and Product Development department. The successful candidate will provide essential support to Project Leads, ensuring the smooth running of administrative and coordination tasks within the project lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone with a background in Project Administration or Coordination, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing project budgets.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Attend all assigned project meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, log actions, RAID log items, lessons learnt, and communicate these post-meeting.
  • Manage all project tasks in JIRA, ensuring updates from meetings are reflected and assist the project lead in keeping the tool up to date.
  • Update the Project Status Report (PSR & RAID) and the budget forecast in Anaplan weekly to ensure current project status is visible at the portfolio level.
  • Support the Head of Consumables with their portfolio weekly review and make necessary amendments.
  • Handle financial and commercial tasks, including raising project POs, processing invoices, raising new supplier requests, arranging one-off payments, and supporting the project team with shipping requirements.
  • Undertake additional administrative tasks as required, such as document generation and filing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project support and budget management.
  • Collaborative and supportive team player, able to interact with colleagues at all levels.
  • Natural organiser with the ability to multitask and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and solution-based thinking.
  • Proficiency in Google GSuite, MS Office, JIRA, or similar project management tools.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full current driving licence.

Desirable:

  • APM PFQ or Prince2 Foundation level certification.
  • Experience with Anaplan or similar budgeting tools.
