Finance Analyst job responsibilities:
- Analyse financial information to ensure that information is accurate, investigate anomalies and provide explanations on variances that have occurred against budget
- Support the preparation of financial reports
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Work closely with other Finance teams
- Contribute to financial planning and strategy
- Provide financial advice to management to aid decision making
Profile
A successful Finance Analyst should have:
- The initiative and ability to successfully implement new ideas
- Experience of using Excel with the aptitude to develop within this area
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards
- Good communication and presentation skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
