Responsibilities:

  • Prioritise children's health and safety at all times
  • Recognise each child's individual learning stage and provide tailored support using age-appropriate methods
  • Assist with meal times and hygiene routines
  • Maintain constant vigilance to safeguard the children
  • Foster positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues through effective communication
  • Assist in keeping accurate records of children's daily activities, including meals and other relevant details
  • Take a proactive approach and support the room leader with tasks and routines

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or obtainable through Randstad)
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Level 2 qualification or equivalent preferred
  • Commitment to safeguarding children
  • Familiarity with health and safety protocols
  • Friendly, welcoming demeanour
  • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum desirable
  • All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK
