Responsibilities:
- Prioritise children's health and safety at all times
- Recognise each child's individual learning stage and provide tailored support using age-appropriate methods
- Assist with meal times and hygiene routines
- Maintain constant vigilance to safeguard the children
- Foster positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues through effective communication
- Assist in keeping accurate records of children's daily activities, including meals and other relevant details
- Take a proactive approach and support the room leader with tasks and routines
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or obtainable through Randstad)
- Previous experience working with children
- Level 2 qualification or equivalent preferred
- Commitment to safeguarding children
- Familiarity with health and safety protocols
- Friendly, welcoming demeanour
- Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum desirable
