Reed Practice are working with an independent firm of chartered accountants that has been established for over 100 years. They deal with SME owner-managed businesses and FCA regulated organisations operating in the professional, property, building, construction, technology and retail sectors.
Due to business expansion, customer demand and accelerated growth, they are seeking an Accounts Senior.
Reporting to the Line Manager, responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of financial and management accounts for Limited companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships across a diverse group of industries.
- Monthly and quarterly management accounting assignments, including VAT returns.
- Assisting with larger financial accounting assignments.
- Communication and networking with clients, partners, and colleagues to progress assignments and resolve queries
- Prepare corporation tax calculations and returns.
The right candidate will be:
- Qualified ACCA/ACA
- At least 3 years UK practice experience
- Hands-on approach and willingness to go the extra mile
- Experience of working with SME/owner-managed businesses
- Team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
