Process Safety Manager
looking to progress within a leading Commercial Explosive Manufacturer in the UK. This is an onsite role based out of Alfreton, Derbyshire.

The Process Safety Manager will be responsible for:
- Develop a culture of Process Safety & Health and Safety excellence
- Accountable to the Head of SHEAQ Northern Europe for all matters relating to Process Safety across all relevant areas of the Business
- Effective management of major accident hazard identification and risk assessment processes.
- Participating in incident investigations and root cause analysis as well as conduct on-site inspections and audits of Process Safety procedures and practices.
- Ensure that all Process Safety Accidents and Serious Near Misses are subjected to a full and thorough investigation.
- Managing all Health and Safety for onsite staff.
The Process Safety Manager will need to have:
- Educated to degree level in Process Safety
- A thorough understanding of the best available techniques for carrying out comprehensive risk assessments as well as the identification of major accident hazards
- Ideally previous experience of working within an Upper Tier COMAH facility, hence an appreciation of COMAH legislation
