Your new role
Working alongside the directors and managing your own portfolio of clients, your role will be a mix of audit and accounts.
You will play a key role in leading audit engagements and providing valuable insights to clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and deadlines.
- Conducting risk assessments, developing audit plans, and executing audit procedures with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Preparation of statutory financial statements for a wide range of clients.
- Maintaining good relationships with clients to progress audit and accounts preparation assignments.
- Mentoring and coaching junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and grow in their roles.
- Staying informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide value-added services to clients.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with proven all round general practice experience. You will also have excellent communication and IT skills.
