Harmonic Finance are delighted to be working with a luxury fashion business to find a temp-to-perm Interim Accounts Payable Assistant.

Recognizing work-life balance, this role offers 2 days working from home and 3 days in their beautiful London office.

The Role

As an Interim AP Assistant, you shall be running the AP function for the Finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. Your main duties will involve the thorough management of invoices and payments with adherence to established timeframes, overseeing the weekly payment run, reviewing VAT, and updating the daily cash book. You shall also engage with suppliers and cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders to communicate financial accuracies. If successful, this role shall convert into a Permanent position.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and managing supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments within timeframes
  • Managing the weekly payment run and approvals
  • Reviewing VAT
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Administering purchase orders
  • Updating the daily cash book
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Supporting the Financial Manager with ad-hoc projects

What we need to see (essential):

  • Part-Qualified Accountant
  • 2-3 years Accounts Payable experience
  • Product-based Industry experience
  • Experience with an SME
  • Brilliant communication skills and self-motivated

What we need to see (bonus):

  • Background in Retail
  • NetSuite proficiency

Salary: £140-£170 Day Rate

Location: London (Hybrid)
