Finance Manager | Social Housing | South Yorkshire | Hybrid Working
Castlefield Recruitment are partnering with a regional Housing Association based in the South Yorkshire to recruit a finance manager on an interim basis. You will be working within a new leadership team with really good experience within social housing and the wider public sector, and manage the operational finance team. This is a 6 month position initially.
The Role
- Assisting the Head of Finance in managing the finance functions, offering advice to Board members and other staff applying advanced specialist knowledge
- Responsibility for the provision of financial services including budget preparation, closing of accounts, preparation of statutory accounts and annual financial statements
- Contributing to the strategic management of the group as part of the Senior Management Team
- Providing financial information and reports to the Head of Finance & Performance, Executive Management Team, and Board
The person
- ACA/ACCA/CIPFA/CIMA qualification is desirable but not essential
- Strong financial modelling skills and systems knowledge
- Housing or public sector experience would be beneficial
- You must be available to start at short notice
