My client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in data migration, particularly within the Microsoft Dynamics CE / CRM Eco-system. **Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Migration: Lead complex data migration projects from legacy systems to Dynamics 365 CRM, ensuring high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Database Design & Modelling: Develop robust database architectures that are scalable, secure, and optimised for performance, utilising tools like SQL Server.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data using SSIS and SQL Server, while generating insightful reports with Power BI and SSRS to inform business decisions.
  • Azure Services: Implement and manage data solutions on Azure platforms, including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure DevOps, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.
  • Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams, including application developers and business analysts, to understand business requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.

**Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Must-Have: Expertise in Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server, Power BI, Data Analysis, Database Design, and Data Modelling.
  • Nice-to-Have: Knowledge of Application Development, PL/SQL, Python, and Data Governance.

**Who They Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have at least 6+ years of experience in data migration and be ready to hit the ground running. They should be able to start within a month's notice and demonstrate a deep understanding of both the technical and business aspects of data management. The business works in a hybrid model, 3 days in the office per week, candidates applying should be based within the Greater London area to be able to commit to this.
