Head of Technical Services - Event Production - Ideally with a Lighting or Video expertise
£55,000 - £70,000
Location - Bracknell with some WFH option and occasional travel to client sites
Full time permanent role
As the Head of Technical Services, you will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence in the Production Management process across a range of disciplines including Audio, Video, Lighting and Rigging.
Duties:
- Lead, coach and develop the Technical Services team whilst managing their performance to enhance productivity and motivation
- Allocate resources effectively ensuring effective workload distribution including use of freelancers
- Increase margin of jobs through improved quoting processes & department operating systems
- Formulate and advise PMs and Account Managers on technical solutions for events
- On site install presence where appropriate
- Provide schematics, kit-listing and full budgeting and technical quotations to PMs and Account Managers as required
- Secure appropriate equipment & sub-hires when appropriate, in liaison with Warehouse team
- Work closely with Warehouse, Logistics, Scenic and Client Service colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of events
- Fully adhere to ISO systems and procedures and contribute to their development as required
