An international logistics provider, well known for it's high standard of service and innovative solutions, our partner is now looking for a part-time Accounts Administrator.
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for a variety of financial and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the organisation's accounting functions. Your primary duties will include:
- Bookkeeping: Use Xero to accurately record and maintain financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Bank Statement Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements to ensure the accuracy of financial records and identify any discrepancies.
- Credit Control: Manage the organization's credit policies, monitor outstanding payments, and follow up with customers to ensure timely payment of invoices.
As the right candidate, you are an experienced Accounts Administrator or Bookkeeper and have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. You have experience using cloud based accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks, and you have strong organisational skills and demonstrate a keen eye for detail.
You are independant, self-motivated and you pride yourself on a job well done. You are confident on the phone and are able to build relationships quickly and effectively with both internal stake holders and clients alike.
This is a part-time office based role offering 15 to 22.5 hours per week and is flexible on days and hours.
