Qualified SEND Teacher

- Hours: 8:30am - 16.30pm
- Pay rate: £135-£145 per day
A brand new SEMH school in Boston is actively seeking a Fully Qualified SEND Teacher to join their team.
We are looking for a QTS qualified SEND teacher who is passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated to supporting children with challenging behaviour, special needs, mental health or need additional emotional support.
To be considered for this position of SEND Teacher you must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be a newly qualified teacher (NQT)/early career teacher (ECT) and have a desire to become part of a committed member of the team. The Candidate will have great subject knowledge and a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons alongside upholding great classroom management skills.
Must have:
- Experience with Challenging children (SEND, SEMH, CB or EBD)
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be a newly qualified teacher (NQT)/early career teacher (ECT)
- A calm, caring, considerate, compassionate manner and be very patient.
- An understanding of challenging behaviour and safeguarding
- Child and adult DBS check on update service or willing to complete a new one
- Excellent knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice and awareness of current legislation
