Fire & Aviation Recruitment & Screening Support

A role to support the Securitas Fire and Aviation Team with all administrative tasks and general administration of recruitment systems.

To uphold the professional integrity of Securitas Security Services (UK) Ltd and to lead the industry codes and ethics of good Security and employment practice through a professional screening process, with particular focus on compliance of the screening process.

To enhance our customer service by implementing the very best application of Security Screening and continuous improvement processes and ensure that all employees are screened for a complete 5-year career history.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Fire and Aviation team ensuring all admin tasks are completed in a timely manner with excellent attention to detail
  • First point of contact for all recruitment enquiries / queries
  • Advertising new roles on careers website, social media, and other external providers
  • Amending/updating closing dates on current online adverts
  • Review all CV applications and shortlist for interviews using a fair and unbiased selection process
  • Book and complete interviews (telephone or MS Teams)
  • Gather feedback from managers on which candidates to progress through to next stage of the interview process.
  • Keep Applicant Tracking System up to date with candidate progress and any notes.
  • Provide offer details to successful candidates and support/assist them with the onboarding process
  • Check candidates Right to Work eligibility and monitor the 5-year onboard clearance file whilst working alongside the HR Team to ensure offer letters and contracts are sent out in a timely fashion
  • Accountable for the completion of the 5-year screening to BS7858 standard in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring authorisation before employment and training is commenced.
  • To ensure that financial checks and where applicable, a Basic Check has been carried out and completed by the Scottish Disclosure for your designated Area.
  • Carry out social media background checks
  • To input relevant screening details on to the relevant systems. Ensure you remain fully trained as a qualified 'Screener' and have completed the company training on screening.
  • Accountable for the completion of the screening of all Fire and Aviation employees within 12 weeks of commencing employment.
  • To liaise with the Fire & Aviation team where cases are unlikely to be completed within the 12-week timeframe.
  • Employees are regularly chased for any outstanding screening documentation
  • Maintain up to date working knowledge of all relevant legislations, best practice, and Company policies relevant to the position.
  • Support the management of the Recruitment Enquiries Email Inbox
  • Data Entry for updating Recruitment trackers
  • Data gathering for monthly / weekly reports
  • Effective management of the ID Gateway to ensure efficient processing of Airside Passes
  • Effective communication with the candidate to ensure efficient processing of screening and airside pass applications
  • Actively taking steps to maintain communication
  • Coordinate and manage all Recruitment of Contingency Crew - Advertise / Review CV's / Interview / Job Offer / Overview Screening process as necessary
  • Coordinate and manage Initial Training of Contingency Crew - Book Crew on to relevant / Send out Joining Instructions and Health Questionnaire (in advance)
  • Coordinate and manage CPD Training of Contingency Crew - Review database for competency. Book external Crew directly and liaise with Coordinator for Area for Internal Candidates
  • Course Administration - Ensure a member of the Fire Division is present during the course to Welcome the Crew and complete Course Information Form - uniform etc Post courses ensure that the database is updated. Roster into Timegate. Enter and approve Expenses via Concur. Monitor Central Inbox. Leavers Forms
  • Produce a monthly data regarding the Contingency Crew for the Fire Division Report
  • Additional reasonable duties which fall within the remit of this role

Postholder ideally based at Heathrow Airport / London - with occasional travel throughout the UK including the Fire College - Moreton-in-Marsh.
