Data Modeller - Contract
- 2 days per week in Milton Keynes
The primary responsibility will be to guide, advise, propose, and govern the design of different data models so product teams can become self-reliant.
Requirements
- A solid understanding of the difference in the management and benefit of modelling at different layers of abstraction e.g. physical, logical, conceptual and contextual.
- A solid understanding of the difference in the management and benefit of metadata at different levels of abstraction.
- A solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, designs, and utilisation.
- Knowledge of reference data models for banking e.g. IBM BFMDW, Teradata LS-FDM etc.
- Experience of modelling in cloud-based environments and the implementation considerations for physical modelling in different database technologies (relational, NoSql etc.).
