The Role
We're seeking an Ecologist to join our client, a leading ecology consultancy. The role requires the Ecologist to use their experience conducting wildlife surveys and botanical identification, their academic background in ecology or strong experience working in an environmental field and experience using software like Kaleidoscope, QGIS or CorelDRAW to undertake field surveys using UKHab assessments, Biodiversity Net Gain condition assessments, and protected species surveys.

The company is a leading ecology consultancy, providing specialist ecology services to a range of organisations throughout the UK. The Ecologist will contribute to a supportive team environment, which rewards hard work and innovative thinking.
This role is hybrid remote based from either their Worcestershire or Hertfordshire offices, and involves visiting client sites, as such a Driving Licence is also required.

What's Required?
The ideal Ecologist for the role will have some of the following:
- Experience doing wildlife surveys and botanical identification is a must
- Academic background in ecology, or strong experience working in an environmental field
- Experience using software like Kaleidoscope, QGIS or CorelDRAW
- Knowledge of environmental legislation, planning processes, EIAs and HRAs
- Full UK driving licence
