Eames is currently partnering with a leading Reinsurer in search for an Assistant Company Secretary for their London office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise and manage Board and Committee meetings for regulated entities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to set up meetings.
- Prepare agendas, meeting packs, and draft resolutions independently.
- Record and distribute minutes, ensuring compliance with legal requirements (including FCA/PRA's SMR).
- Handle annual and ad hoc filings with Companies House and maintain statutory records.
- Monitor legislative changes and advise on necessary actions.
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act and other codes.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Company Secretarial Assistant or in a similar role, ideally within the London insurance market. A Chartered Governance qualification (or equivalent) and familiarity with Companies House filings are highly desirable.
