Accounts Assistant - About The Role
In this role, you will be reporting into the Finance Manager and will be working alongside a team of 3. You will be supporting with the daily running of the accounting function as well as supporting other departments. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Supporting with the management of the Purchase Ledger function- scanning and processing invoices on a daily basis.
- Reconciling of statements to PL.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and checking invoices are reconciled.
- Managing the accounts inbox and directing queries to the relevant personnel.
- Assist in increasing the productivity and profitability of the accounts department.
- Ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
- Setting up new suppliers on the accounting system.
The successful Accounts Assistant will have:
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- AAT studiers or QBE candidates will be considered
- Good IT skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
