We are recruiting for the role of
a
Prison Tutor & Coach to join this team at HMP The Mount in Hertfordshire. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality interventions to offenders. Your efforts will help develop their confidence and encourage a positive mindset through structured programs and personalized support. Interventions can include one-to-one support or group work training among small groups. And could cover a range of subject areas such as:
- Managing emotions
- Life skills
- Vocational training courses
- Practicalities upon release
- Goal setting
_Key Responsibilities: _
- Delivery and Coordination: Collaborate with prison colleagues to manage all Wing stages including induction, assessment, support work, the 3-phase delivery, education and training, and pre-release preparation.
- Peer Mentor Support: Recruit, train, and provide support for Wing Peer Mentors.
- Case Management: Update case notes and input achievements onto CATS+, the CFO Evolution case management recording system, ensuring a high level of compliance to avoid rejected achievements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other CFO Evolution staff to ensure smooth transitions through the gate.
