Overview

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable to join a successful and growing law firm based in Birmingham City Centre. They are going through an incredible period of growth and are now looking for a determined and motivated individual to help drive the continuous success of the business.

As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will be reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager and play a significant part in ensuring the smooth operation of Accounts Payable processes. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable including booking in stock deliveries against purchase order in an accurate and timely manner.

Ideally, you will:

  • Possess high level of accuracy with the initiative to work to tight deadlines and can demonstrate comfort in using accounting systems
  • Be AAT qualified or have previous experience in an accounts payable function working with a high volume of invoices
  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills who is well organised with a methodical approach
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft packages especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel (Including Pivot Tables, and VLookups)
