The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive component cataloguing and parts classification services. The role demands a strong technical background, ideally within the automotive sector, and familiarity with cataloguing systems such as XChecker, Elcome, TecDoc, partsLink24, and Autocat.

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum + Pension + 23 days holiday + Free On-Site Parking + Employee Benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately input, update, and maintain product information in various cataloguing systems.
- Conduct detailed technical analysis of automotive components to ensure accurate and comprehensive cataloguing.
- Classify automotive parts according to established industry standards and internal guidelines.
- Perform quality checks on catalogued data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure consistent and accurate product data.
- Utilise and navigate cataloguing systems such as XChecker, Elcome, TecDoc, partsLink24, and Autocat efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and manuals related to catalogued products.
- Provide technical support to customers regarding product information and cataloguing queries.
Experience:
- Ideally a minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical cataloguing or similar role within the automotive industry.
- Proven experience with cataloguing systems such as XChecker, Elcome, TecDoc, partsLink24, and Autocat.
- Strong understanding of automotive components and their functions.
Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
