Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Hays Education are working with an Independent Special School based in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, who are seeking dedicated and innovative Teaching Assistants to provide ad hoc support.

Role Overview:

  • As a Teaching Assistant, you will work with children and young people with complex needs, including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Your role will involve using a range of teaching strategies to inspire and motivate students across all school subjects.
  • You may work one-to-one or with small groups of students.
  • You will work with a committed team of school staff, contributing to the overall development and wellbeing of our students.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with students on SEN is essential.
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability.
  • Nurturing and caring approach.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
