We are currently working with an established fresh food wholesale company with the recruitment of a permanent Stock Controller to join their team. The role will require a candidate with a stock background who is able to demonstrate accuracy and efficiency and is looking to work within a professional, experienced team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Stock rotating and accurately recording all movements
- Checking products for quality and freshness
- ensure damages, wastage and any discrepencies are reported.
- Accurately count and record returns daily and for regular stock checks
- Follow company procedures to ensure hoding levels are replenished
- Liaise with drivers, managers and collate data
- Record and collate information and meet targets set related to any losses.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1 years experience with stores or stock control in a warehouse setting
- A full UK driving license (essential)
- Valid Forklift Counterbalance license (preferred)
- IT experience/computer literacy (essential)
- Excellent numerical, accuracy and attention to detail (essential)
- Flexible approach to work.
This role is 40-45hrs per week working 5 days from 7 on a day shift pattern.
