Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Teacher to join this supportive primary PRU as a SEMH teacher. This is a full time, long-term role starting in September 2024 for the full academic year.
The School:
The school supports children from Brent Secondary schools with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs who have been permanently excluded or allocated a place through SEN consultation or via the Securing Education Board on a short-term placement. A high number of pupils here also have an additional diagnosis of autism and/or ADHD. Class sizes are therefore smaller with up to six pupils per class and there is a high staff-to-pupil ratio so that children are given the correct support when needed across the school day.
To join us and be successful in this role you will need:
- Full QTS
- Previous experience working with children with SEMH
- Strong behaviour management skills
- An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
