Assistant Management Accountant

We are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for an AAT qualified professional looking to further their career in ACCA/CIMA, preferably with a background in services/contracting. You will be providing essential financial support and reports, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Generate and provide financial reports from ‘Great Plains' (MS Dynamics) to the network, including monthly self-bill, BACS remittances, statements, and aged debt.
- Raise monthly sales invoices for royalty and central fees, along with ad hoc invoices such as rebates.
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations and process weekly payments to franchisees.
- Handle customer refund requests and process when necessary.
- Offer ad hoc financial analysis for queries around sales revenue, cash allocation, and cost queries.
- Provide key financial support for business development managers and internal sales colleagues.
- Assist with month-end close and reporting.
- Contribute to data collection for year-end reporting and audit.
- Support tax compliance and legislative requirements.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties within your capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- AAT qualified, looking to train in either ACCA/CIMA.
- Experience from a services/contracting background is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Office 365 with advanced Excel skills.
- Professional approach to confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

- Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
