We are partnering with a growing SME to help them find an experienced Finance Manager for an interim role - on a day rate basis - lasting at least six months & could go permanent! This opportunity comes at an exciting time for the business!
You'll lead a small, supportive finance team and work closely with an experienced Head of Finance.
Key duties will include:
- Preparing and finalizing Management Accounts
- Revenue recognition and reconciliation
- Managing and mentoring a small finance team
- Updating month-end P&L and Balance Sheet data
- Managing Fixed Assets, including capitalizing new investments
- Creating depreciation schedules and relevant journals
- Reconciling the Balance Sheet and Gross Margin
- Handling accruals and prepayments
- Overseeing VAT Returns
- Assisting with Year-end Audit requirements
This is an office-based role with some flexibility around start and finish times, including an earlier finish on Fridays! The office is easily accessible from West Leicestershire, Coalville, Tamworth, Atherstone, Market Bosworth, Hinckley, and Nuneaton.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience managing and completing Management Accounts, be skilled in reconciliations, have strong proficiency in Excel & enjoys mentoring & managng a small team. You'll also enjoy working in a collaborative, friendly team environment.
