When you start working as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant the experience you gain sets up your career as an Architect.
You want to be in a role where the experience you gain is broad – work in lots of sectors across lots of RIBA stages. Don't get restricted to 1 or 2 stages and projects in one sector.
This practice works on everything.
Residential developments, commercial buildings, retail schemes, change of use projects, and even Passivhaus work. It's mixed and varied. Which the team loves!
No two days are the same and the size of the business means you'll gain exposure to projects from concept to completion.

Here's what you need for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:
- Master's degree in architecture.
- Ideally, some experience working as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant.
- Experience working with AutoCAD and rendering software such as Lumion is beneficial.
- A full UK driving licence.
You'll be supported to continue progressing professionally with the RIBA to become fully qualified.
