A progressive and forward-thinking school in the heart of Acton is seeking an intervention teacher to join their Year 4 Team full time this Autumn Term 2024.
This role will consist of 5 days of intervention work within Key stage, and some PPA across the school.
Requirements of this Intervention Teacher role:
- Able to work effectively with small groups
- Experience working within Year 4
- Record keeping, ensuring students are progressing
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
Main responsibilities of an Intervention Teacher:
- To assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Working with small groups of children, delivering short and concise lessons to help students improve
- Making sure the interventions are in line with each students needs
- Co-ordinate effectively with the Class Teacher and Phase Leader
- Ensure safeguarding is maintained at all times
