We are currently looking for a progressive and focused junior Accountant with some practical exposure who are looking for a new opportunity within a world-leading employer. You may be disillusioned with your current position or be looking for something a little more progressive/dynamic. Ideally, you will be studying ACCA/ACA or AAT and will be working in practice - or have done so recently. Those without at least one year of practice exposure will not be considered.
Responsible for:
- Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
- General Bookkeeping
- Assisting in the management of client relationships with some on-site work
- Working with the outsourcing team and supporting them when required
- Tax advice and assistance when required (VAT, CIS, Self-assessment)
- Liaison with the HMRC
Required Attributes:
- Studying or looking to study AAT/ACCA/ACA
- One or more years of practice exposure
- Focused on working in Practice
- Highly organised
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of accounting systems
