This well-established not for profit organisation is looking for a part time Payroll Administrator to join their team. This is a newly created role within the business due to a company restructure. This role offers great flexible working with the ideal candidate working 25 hours a week across 4/5 days. You will be mainly office based and this is a fantastic role for an experienced payroller who is looking for a flexible position.

Part Time Payroll Administrator - About The Role

In this role you will be assisting with the processing of multiple payrolls for 350 employees. You will be reporting into the Payroll Manager while also regularly liaising with the payroll bureau. This is a busy hands-on position that offers great career stability and benefits.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Offer full administrative and payroll support for multiple entities
  • Checking employee personal data for all new employees joining the organisation
  • Receive, check and process timesheets for weekly staff
  • Ensuring P45s or HMRC starter check lists have been completed by new employees
  • Complete reports and surveys for HMRC and ONS within required deadlines
  • Ensure the payroll bureau issue P60s and communicate their availability to employees
  • Reconcile employee and employer contributions and payments
  • Liaising with the HR department regarding payroll queries
  • Producing ad hoc reports for the senior management team

The successful Part Time Payroll Administrator will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar payroll position
  • Strong Excel skills are essential
  • Experience with CIPHR would be beneficial
